November 22, 2025 — ARCHEOPOINT INAUGURATION
- 13 November 2025
At MIRS / Via Roma 115, PASIANO DI PORDENONE
DURING THE MORNING IT WILL BE POSSIBLE TO VISIT THE MIRS MUSEUM WITH FREE ADMISSION.
The long history of settlements in Pasiano is documented by numerous archaeological finds emerging in various districts and locations.
The identification of sites and the investigations carried out in several areas confirm widespread occupation of the territory from the phases of Romanization (2nd–1st century BC) through the full Imperial Age (1st–2nd century AD) and beyond (4th–6th century AD).
The study of the archaeological materials shows that during the Roman period the area was part of a productive rural context, within a centuriated landscape.
The Archeopoint is designed as a permanent, multifunctional interactive station, serving as a storage facility for the archaeological materials of the area and as a laboratory for cataloguing and research. It also functions as a versatile exhibition and educational space dedicated to the ancient history of Pasiano di Pordenone.
